Urban Biorhythms Chart: October 2012
It’s been a while since our latest posting in Charts, so lets fix that. What we got here is a selection of my personal favorites for October.
The chart kicks of with an absolutely mind blowing cut from Solee called ‘Zebra’, here in Of Norway interpretation. This track is just wicked, with big organic feeling, and really smooth ride all over. Next up is my personal candidate for track of the year – Denis A‘s ‘Black Sun’, and here I have picked Jimmy Van M‘s remix. Huge main melody with stunning undeground feeling. Played by John Digweed in his ‘Transitions’. Next up is Solee again, now with his offering from Bedrock 14‘s compilation called ‘Resistance’. To me Solee is a hero of melancholic techno and this is the reason why. Emotional tune with a mind blowing structure. Next up is a pure club cracker from Guy J called ‘Mish Mash’, also of Bedrock 14. Classic romper stomper. Place no. 5 also goes to Guy J, this time on a remix duty for Cristior, on microCastle. Once again Guy hits the main spots of the tune, and turns it into a complete monster. After that, once again from Bedrock 14, we have Henry Saiz and his homey Marc Marzenit on a deep epic journey called ‘Sirens Land’. The powerful drums are driving me crazy, together with sirens vocals. I am bit late with track no. 7, Jamie Stevens‘ rerub of Cattaneo’s ‘Japanese Snowbell’. One of the strongest candidates for track of the year also. Next up, a guy that holds PhD in genetics, living legend Max Cooper doing what he knows best: delivering everlasting emotional melodies. His remix for Magic Panda on Tigerbeat6. Position no. 9 goes to SQL with his techy banger called ‘Wiebel’. Last track, but absolute favorite atm, is a wonderful springish cut (available for free) by Prins Thomas. Full of happy vibes this tracks makes me smile while I am walking at downtown. I love that!
