November 'Vintage' Chart
Hey chaps, it’s time for me to unveil my favorite tracks for the past 30 days. As the title of the chart implies, the sound is pretty in the ‘vintge’ mood (as I see it): deep, mystic, asmospheric, and everything around 123-4 BPM. I guess it describes my mood in the past 30 days.
Some usual suspects here. Henry Saiz rocked my boat with his new EP on his Natura Sonoris (with Cora Novoa); I have included both originals from that pack – two simply gorgeous cuts. Andre Sobota dropped a five tracker on Luis Junior’s ‘mooseekaa’ label, and I have chosen the closing track called ‘Septemper’ because it contains beautiful melancholic melody. Also featured here is Andre’s remix of a cult track by Ben Shaw & Tilt called ‘Sly One’ that is out on Mesmeric Records. There is one track by great trio called Wiretappeur from Bedrock 14 compilation, I see it as a great mood setter. For the third time in the chart there is Henry Saiz once again with a massive single called ‘Uncharted’ also on Bedrock. Henry’s sound evolves from one release to another. He is one of the most exciting producers out there atm, and I can just imagine what he has prepard for his upcoming artist album coming in autumn of 2013 on his Natura Sonoris. Then I picked two fatt cuts: one from legendary Fiord duo, and one from Fairmont. Chymera‘s album ‘Death By Misadventure’ is one of the most stand out packs in 2012. To chart I have chosen one of the reinterpretations on one of the originals from the album, this one coming from Steve Moore. The chart closer is one remix from the legendary Pachanga Boys, lovely indie dance / nu-disco vibes.
Hopefully you will find something thats fits your tast here.
