A new member of the PHW tribe
My name is Jonas Rosbech, also known as Jocey, the half of 31 Miles and Chasing Sunset. I have been so lucky to get invited into the warm welcoming arms of the ProgressiveHouseWorldwide board. I have always been fascinated by this forum, and after the PHW label started, it all just flew away. Now I am aboard, and will be writing about new beautiful releases by our amazing fellow labels, and when I get in shape, I will be posting tutorials of various elements of the productional side of music, including how to make music, musical theory, various different DAW’s and how they work etc., so you guys got a lot coming!
To tell a little more about myself, I am a 21 year old producer, located in Copenhagen, Denmark. I have been making music since I was 11 years old, when I started out playing piano and worked around with different DAW’s. I have been around FL-Studio, Cubase, Reason, Live and Logic Pro, among that I’ve been studying musical theory for around 5 years, and been around all aspects of music.
I produce a lot of different pieces of music, trance, house, progressive melodic house, deep house, ambient, chillout film scoring and more club-orientated music. I always strive to expand my musical knowledge, and love experimenting in different genres.
Besides my releases on PHW, I’ve also released on WeRecommendRecords, Yellow Avenue and got a lot of other labels coming up, but can not get any deeper in that at the moment. Also, I release for a danish labels called Lurifax Productions, where I work on remixes from different artists, some of them well-known in Denmark, along with some more underground(ish) stuff.
I am very happy and honoured to be accepted into the PHW family, and I promise that I won’t let any of you guys down, it is going to be a great year, and I can already say that 2013 is going to be a huge year for the progressive house genre!
So again, thanks and let’s get going!
